My deer plots are really small and surrounded by trees. I can't really get any equipment back to my plots. I tried this mix 2 years ago and it is perfect! I can have fantastic deer plots without having to try to get equipment to them. Highly recommend!
The land I lease for hunting has a small clearing way back in the woods and I asked the Farmer that I lease from if I could plant something back there and he said I could but I had no way of getting planting equipment back to the plot so I tried Midwest Wildlife Zone’s new No-Till mix and the Frozen Forage Brassica mix . I sprayed the existing weeds in early July and when the weeds were dead and brown I hand raked and broadcast the mix’s the first week of August and with the help of a couple rains I had a great patch of green in the middle of nowhere that the wildlife kept visiting all Fall and continue into Winter!
