- Berseem clover is an annual white clover that is one of the most attractive to deer of all the clovers!
- Frosty is a Winter hardy, multi cut variety that should be planted in the Spring
- It looks a lot like alfalfa and produces a lot of very tasty forage
- If deer population lets it, it will reseed itself and makes a great addition to perennial clover mix’s
- It usually does not survive Winter when planted by itself in the Northern States(Michigan, Wisconsin) but in mixes and by reseeding, it can last for years and is easily frost seeded back in when population gets thin
-
Common varieties do not recover well after they get grazed compared to Frosty
