- Rape is an annual Brassica with no bulb that can produce a lot of forage in a short amount of time
- Plant in late Summer
- In early Fall as it grows it will be quite bitter thus deer tend to leave it alone, letting it make great tonnage
- As the weather gets cold, especially after a frost, it becomes a smelly, sweet treat that wildlife will come to from far away!
- Quite often used in Brassica mix’s with other bitter type plants like Forage Radish, Bulb Turnips and Forage turnips
